- You do nothing but call us!
An "Adjuster," or more commonly known as a "Public Adjuster", is a professionally trained representative licensed by the state to protect your rights working on behalf of the property owner (that would be you). An adjuster estimates any damage to your property in full detail, and secures the largest possible recovery from your insurance company. An adjuster's fee is based solely on a percentage of your settlement.
How's does it all work?
The Adjuster will handle all details such as notifying your insurance company, obtaining a claim number, writing all estimates, filing all legal documents, and negotiating the largest settlement possible to which you are entitled.
When you make an insurance claim, you have to deal with a very experienced insurance company adjuster. The company adjuster (from your insurance company) is trained to minimize your damages (paying you the least amount possible).
Insurance Adjusters are able to minimize your damage by encouraging the following cost-saving methods:
- ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF REPAIR The use of substitute (less expensive) building materials.
- APPEARANCE ALLOWANCE This is a small portion of the true cost of a particular repair or replacement. The damage remains highly visible and you agree to live with it.
- FASTRACK This is the most effective cost control tactic used by most insurance companies throughout the industry. They try to get you to do the repair work yourself at a much lower labor rate. Most times the labor rate offered to you is only a small portion of the current labor rate.
- DEPRECIATION Most company adjusters use a depreciation chart without regard to the condition or usability of the damaged items. They subtract a standard percentage based on the age to establish the actual cash value.
Obviously, you cannot take on the highly trained Insurance Company Adjuster head-on and expect to get the best results. The answer is to hire your own professional and experienced adjuster.
Our staff of professional public adjusters will work for you, not the insurance company. Our main concern is to get you and all that you are entitled to under the terms of your individual insurance policy. We know how to interpret the policy and explain all of it's provisions as it applies to your loss. All our adjusters are thoroughly experienced in preparing damage estimates based on current construction pricing in your locale.
In the event of damage to your home or business, such as fire, smoke, water, wind, theft, vandalism, or any other problem, don't call your insurance company or agent. Just call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to find out if your problem is covered by your insurance policy. We are Licensed & Bonded in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
